What can an advocate do?

An advocate is not an attorney, but may be just what your child needs.

*In some cases, you may need to seek legal counsel.  In that case, I can refer you to representation.
Can't get out the door in the morning?  Losing homework that was done the night before?  Are you told your child is 'unmotivated' or 'needs a lot of prompting?
The summary report looks at past patterns, school interventions, current levels of performance and the way your child functions independently.  It gives you as a parent insight into their executive functioning skills and helps you frame your approach in a strategic, intentional, and highly personalized way.
The goal is to have you and your child develop awareness and work together to problem solve on an ongoing basis. (That's life!)
The summary will also include recommendations and considerations that can be shared with your child's school or related service providers.
